Shloka

गुरुरेष सदानन्द -
सिन्धौ निर्मग्नमानसः ।
पावयन्वसुधां सर्वां
विचचार निरन्तरः ॥ ५७८ ॥

gurureṣa sadānanda -
sindhau nirmagnamānasaḥ ;
pāvayanvasudhāṃ sarvāṃ
vicacāra nirantaraḥ . 578 .

Translation

This guru, his mind always immersed in the ocean of bliss, moved about purifying the whole earth with the vision of oneness.

Annotation

A realised master is a light to the world. He spreads purity wherever he moves by imparting knowledge to seekers. The verse can also relate to the student himself, who has later become a guru and moved about spreading knowledge.
